taking a deep breath...

if you've heard of this phrase being told to you: "relax... take a deep breath", then you're pretty normal and surrounded by pretty normal people... when i say normal, i mean, 'sucked into the mechanical everyday life, tensed up, nervous, goofy, irritable, being a cry-baby, etc. etc.' ...

so what takes us into this mode of deep stress, and hence deep strain? probably its a question of such high standards set for ourselves by ourselves, trying to reach which, we fail often, almost every time... OR its probably the negative energy levels of all the WRONG people around us, who succeed every time, in bringing our morales down and getting us down on the floor... OR its probably the pessimism that we've cultivated by living in this so-called realists, who claim to talk practicality, and end up being losers not worth a mention themselves...

when i saw a movie called 'batman begins' recently, there were some extremely powerful dialogues in it, which made me think about the general attitudes of people that i meet everyday, and realize how much they all need it... one of the dialogues goes: "WE ALL FALL, BUT... ONLY TO RISE AGAIN... DONT WE?"... and another one that caught my attention goes: "IT DOES NOT MATTER WHO I AM... WHAT I DO, IS WHAT DEFINES ME"... learning to stay relaxed, is not a practice... its more like a penance... needs years and years of experience and learning, to know it completely... no matter what the situation may be, to learn how to stay relaxed and approach problems while not getting panicky, is such a key ingredient to satisfied living...

what you do, does not matter if you do not do it the right way... how you do it, does not matter if you do not do the right thing... what you do and how you do it, does not matter, if you do not do it when it is needed the most! with the timing clearly being a relative definition, it becomes absolutely critical to do it ALL THE TIME...
